Java question concerning compiling using the run cmd ? - calling a cmd file using python

I'm trying to learn Java .. I have a file called HelloWorldApp.java in c: \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ java .. Then I went to run cmd in the letter which stated that changes on the screen of "c: \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ java and then in C: \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ Program Files \\ \\ \\ \\ Java \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ jdk1.6.0_07 \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ bin javac and wrote HelloWorldApp.java C ': \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ Program Files' is not recognized as internal or external command, program or batch file to leave., if I the files in the space .. It does not seem to find the way to scecified
